Thanksgiving Fun

So my family is down in Miami Beach at my grandmother’s house for thanksgiving.  This of course brings me to the flight which is the main topic for this post but first you need some background information.  In my household it is common for my dad if my sister is ever reaching for something to give her a good poke in the side. Flash back to today when I’m flying to Florida. So we get on board and my sister is reaching up to stick her carry-on in the overhead bin.  My sister finishes while my dad is turned around.  Song Flight attendant comes to mess with something in the same overhead bin while my sister takes her seat out of my dad’s field of view. My dad pokes said flight attendant who then turns around and realizing my dad’s error gives him a good poke back. I don’t think I’ve ever seen my dad turn so red in his life!  I don’t really blame him because on song the flight attendants dress the same way my sister typically does for school: white shirt and black skirt.

Side Rants

-Our family celebrated thanksgiving in the traditional American manner of going to a Japanese restaurant and sitting at a Hibachi table. For those of you who don’t know what a Hibachi table is it is essentially a table which you all sit around and the chef prepares your meal in front of you while doing all sorts of tricks with knives and fire.  It was entertaining and really good too. I had a steak. No turkey was available. Sorry.

The word of the day is "Shiksabob" meaning a shishkabob of a leader of Shevet Shimon and the Midianite Princess with which he was doing the nasty, formed by Pinchas with his spear.

-Happy black Friday! No running out at 5 a.m. to get amazing deals this year though. Oh well.
